Welcome to Geography
The Geography department aims to prepare pupils to engage with the world armed with the knowledge and skills to better understand what is going on around them.
The subject has a tradition of innovation and a long-standing interest in the promotion of excellence in teaching and learning. The department has developed its own programme of study for years 7, 8 and 9 with classes taught in mixed ability classes. Broad themes are studied in half term blocks, with sessions laid out week by week in accompanying course books. The Pearson/Edexcel International GCSE is studied throughout KS4 with the Cambridge International A Level followed during years 12 and 13.
